In the center of the piture you see the old Wall, as it was shown on the previous picture. In the foreground the turning circle which then belonged to East Berlin. This picture was made forthe anniversary of the builiding of the Wall on 13th August of 1989. It was Sunday, therefore I could be at the Bernauer road allready in the morning. Afterwards I drove to the Checkpoint Charlie. The border troops were particularly interested in people and events of West Berlin because it was the anniversary of the building of the Wall. So did the two in the background on the right hand in the picture.

In three months the Wall should fall!
