Again on the level of the circle, photographed in eastern direction, you see the actually route. In the foreground the border fortifications. In the background on the right hand in the ground floor of the building (unfottunately very dark by a photographical error), you see meeting place called "Club of Solidarity of the People". Approximately in the year 1987 West Berlin ceded border areas to the GDR. Also this part of the Bernauer road was among them. Then the boundary was shifted westwards (see next picture!).
